Couln’t tell – or might have been vaping but hard to tell from that distance.
I think it was smoking – there was definitely white wispy stuff ( technical volcanologist term) sort of half way up.

Well done, Nicky! We were genuinely worried we wouldn’t be able to see it at all. Something quite brilliant about being able to take a taxi to see a volcano..
Good! We knew it was there but the camera struggled a bit! Or should I say that the photographer struggled a bit – back to my plan of learning more Spanish and learning to take pictures when we get back home.
