Here’s a bird, a plant and -we think – a nest. Can anyone identify them? (No, we don’t know – that’s why we are asking you.)

The last one isn’t a nest it’s some sort of parasitic plant. Like an air plant but that’s as far as I can go with any of them. Put the photos into google images!
Think you’re right on what we thought was a nest – would mean incredibly tiny bird or large insect I think.
It’s got flowers coming out of it. Would be incredibly artistic insect
Yes but this is a Mexican possible nest so may well be put together by a large, brightly coloured and musical insect?
Thank you for all the pictures and information. I do not know what the bird is but am having a guess at the plant as a BROMILIAD not sure of the spelling. These plants grow out of others such as trees. You seem to be enjoying everything . Long may it all continue. Love Brom

V nice to hear from you Brom! We are indeed enjoying Mexico enormously – we went to a folk dance/ music performance yesterday which ended with loud cheers of Viva Mexico!
