We left our hotel very early this morning to drive up to Silvia to visit a market that happens once a week. The indigenous people of the area – the Guambianos – come down from their villages to buy what they need from the shops and market. They wear traditional dress. They were not rushing around taking selfies with tourists (unlike some other countries) so we refrained from taking disrespectful photographs ourselves. Here are a few, though, which we hope give the feel of this lovely place. More to come later but we have to catch our flight now.

Thank you Miriam for the blog. Travel safely, dress warmly for London.
