Heavy sightseeing today – along with all the school children in South India who are allowed to visit historical monuments at this time of year. We have been mobbed by children wanting to shake our hands and want to know ‘which country’, alongside wishes for a happy new year. And of course everyone wanted to be photographed with us – so small sample of Susie as centre of attention in three separate sights.
Shouldn’t Sue be wearing dark glasses and refusing to sign autographs – what’s the point of being film star for the day if you don’t teak the opportunity to behave badly.
Ah – you missed the dark glasses. As for behaving badly – well, try keeping her in the back of a car driving around Bangalore for a few hours (traffic is shocking!) and she would really pass for a movie star, if impatience is what you mean by bad behaviour!
I thought I was very calm all things considered – particularly the latest guide’s religious musings and M’s attempts to get me to sing some nice Christian song in response to the guides request ( no, I won’t whistle anything either…).
