The good news is that we have reached a place with wifi in our room which appears to work! The bad news is that we were both car-sick as we wound our way down from Coorg to the Kerala coast. Now we have to remember to take travel sickness pills when we make our way back up to Wayanad the day after tomorrow.
Time therefore to share the pictures I have already shared with my family and invite your comments on the bed decorations of the last two days. The person who made the bottom one was particularly proud and wanted to hear if we liked it – which of course we did. Note that a luggage label is used to tie the monkey to the bedpost …
The monkey is a winner!!!
Absolutely! And the guy who made it was so pleased with himself! A one-off I think!
Well, they’ve certainly sussed you two love birds and your proclivities, haven’t they?!
Um …
Perhaps you should delete comments in poor taste.
Fabulous! That monkey is positively creepy and one wonders what was going through the mind of its creator in deciding to tie it to the bed! Skillfull if not bizarre creations.
What a great time you are having! You will not be missing the wet, cold, grey skies of London.
Too right – foolishly caught up with newspapers today – full of stuff I don’t want to know about. Towel art a welcome distraction…
Yes, very kinky! Hope all that monkey tying isn’t giving you ideas! And travel sickness is NOT fun – hope you have good pills! Gxx

Thanks G. Water and more water seems to have done the trick, though still can’t imagine eating anything except dry toast and white rice ever again!
This idea with towels is such a novel one isn’t it? Never saw a monkey I have to confess. Do you replicate these at home? If not why not??
Live Bro,
Towels too floppy at home I suspect…
Having had a life time of car sickness or the threat thereof ! I always took the pills prior to long drives in order to enjoy the travel!!!

Yes, you’re quite right of course. Seems to have turned out to be something dodgy we drank and we’ve both been queasy all day ( as you know, it only takes a stray microbe to cause all kinds of problems). Should be better tomorrow I think,
