Postcards from abroad

I think ‘lurid’ is the word you are searching for – also beautiful
Yes, I guess lurid would be right under grey skies – in bright sun, the colours just sing.
Fab. I was there 25 years ago, time to return! Getting itchy feet…..
Not a trace of snow, however…
It is wrong to have snow with no mountains or skis available…..so that’s ok! X
No wonder Hermine loves Mexico. The colours are absolutely beautiful. Xx
It feels like every street here will have at least one building in plum or orange or turquoise- a very far cry from Japan’s palate of grey and slightly darker grey…
Just caught up on your trip. Fantastic photos and postings. I love the colours especially as it’s such cold and miserable weather here!
We aren’t trying to make anyone envious – so very glad that the colour is bringing warmth when the weather is so grim! XX
It looks just wonderful – maybe even more so because we had yet more snow in NYC this morning – Jessie loves it, though! You really make us want to to go to Mexico! Lots of love from us!
Glad it is inspiring – tell Ken the food in Oaxaca is excellent. Might be a bit hot for Jessie though – the dogs here just lie in the shade. XX
Great to see those marvellous colours!
We loved Qaxaca and it inspired us to repaint our house in Kohimarama in similar colours
Very envious of your trip – got to get back to Mexico one day.
Xx judi
Your house must be stunning then. Mexico seems even better than the last time we came – am considering a month to learn Spanish here. Xx
