Such a strong face. Theatrical lipstick. She looks more robust than Frida – fortunately. Love the greying birds nest hair with real roses. My hairdresser, Natuzza from Calabria, wears her hair like this, with bold flowers.
What a great description Rosalind. I am sorry not to be able to take more people photos but Mexicans are definitely more camera-shy than Indians, in our experience.
But a lot more camera ready than Japanese people…
Amazing similarity. X
Amazing similarity. Such a striking strong face.
Yes, she had a really strong presence – suspect she allows quite a few photos to impressed fans
More beautiful I think and eyebrows not quite as scary as the original. What was the food like? Actually, come on Miriam, no food photos for the avid cooks among us, where’s the mole?
Well, we didn’t eat at Frida’s ( slightly wrong time of day) but the food looked nice. I’m sure M has noted request for food pictures!
Fantastic face – yes, monobrow not quite as mono as Frida’s (a good thing) and I suppose you can make yourself look like her in every other way but you can’t grow hair where it won’t. I say that feelingly, as a baldy. 😉
great picture xx
i love the dancers in Zocalo too – and others… much love
Thanks, Elizabeth – M particularly likes taking pictures of people I think
Ah, sad but true ( the hair growing stuff). This Frida also hasn’t grown the slim dark moustache that the other Frida sported from time to time…
Agree with all the above!
Bit more eyebrow pencil and she would be there
